At Rainbow Lake, we’ve taken care of every detail so you can focus on the fun. All 47 sites come equipped with 30/50 amp electric, city water, sewer hookups, free cable TV — all tucked beneath a gorgeous canopy of Ponderosa Pines and Douglas firs. Gravel pads keep things level and clean, and your four-legged travel companions are welcome too.

Beyond your site, the surrounding region is a playground waiting to be explored. Ruidoso sits at the heart of some of New Mexico’s most stunning landscapes, with Lincoln National Forest practically in your backyard — perfect for hiking, biking, and wildlife watching. Make a day trip down to Alamogordo to visit the White Sands National Park, or head to the charming small towns of Tularosa, Capitan, and Carrizozo, each with their own unique history and local flavor. History buffs won’t want to miss nearby Lincoln, NM — the legendary stomping ground of Billy the Kid.

Back at the park, take a stroll to our rainbow trout feeding pond, grab supplies at the lodge, or just kick back and watch the deer wander through. This is mountain living at its finest.
